Disappointment in Oneself...Disappointment, in oneself Is punishment enough It’s always there, always pushing Never going to let upDisappointment in Oneself...
You duck, you turn, Yell, “Go Away!” Silently it stands, Screaming in your head,
“You Suck! You Screwed Up! What the Heck were you Thinking?! You know better! You are better. But not today, oh no.
Today you are a fool The jester, the loser, all day long You can’t succeed you cannot win So just give up instead”
Fight this voice, prove it wrong Stand tall and strong and firm Take what’s coming, face it head o

run-way run-awayThere’s a girl, you don’t know her name And you won’t She’s a model, and he’s running from her problems In her head she runs and cries and screams Searching for help, running from fear She is completely sane A great person A beautiful body, Although she has issues An eating disorder and so on She runs, in her head, and in physicality she begins to walk It’s her turn on the runway She has to get there To be seen To get helprun-way run-away
She’s in a fitted, pale red dress A v-neck and almost sleeveless It stops just above her knees And blo

LightRefracting as a rainbow Upon a world in need of warmth, To define all shadowed contours When nothing is understood for sure. We can focus in its presence And see the depths of what is there, Where steps are taken without fear-- As in its absence, but of its care. So take heed of the glowing bridge, And leap, believeing you won't fall, For you may forever see your feet before you And in faith, not look at all.Light

Stone to DustI should have seen it in your eyes And the way you ran your hand through your hair. That mess of hair that writhes and hisses, It would turn any girl's heart to stone. You were like a bull in a china shop: Nobody could hold you back, And you sure as hell broke everything. A heart of stone, pulverized to dust. I didn't even feel it at first. Just goes to show you that nothing's real Until you see it, or at least until you open your eyes, Because I could have denied it forever, even now. So I'm here, a mind without a heart, A shell without a soul, which strayed in theStone to Dust

A Bitter RevelationThey say to reach for the stars. A venture only a great person would see through to the end— The sky,A Bitter Revelation
The one star that forever held his eye And motivated him to live in pursuit.
And we would all watch him in envy,
Inspired perhaps to better ourselves, To be even better than he. To know that lacking height is compensated for In strength or beauty or wit. And you have only one thing to know and to hold on to: What is your redeeming quality? What trophy have you in the end for those to look at and admire, That proof that you in fact li

DEAF CHILD The sign stood right outside my house, advertising to the world that I couldn’t hear a jet engine if it took off next to me. I hated that sign. No matter how often my parents explained the reason for it all I wanted was to rip the sign out of the ground and throw it into outer space like some superhero on daytime TV. The sign should have said “Caution” or maybe “Yield”. Black lettering on a giant yellow diamond advertised my ailment to the whole world. Or at least the whole neighborhood.
To a ten
Thats how my teachers always taught me...keep revising. No matter how good you/others think it is.
